 Center for Grabduate International Sudies, Tehran, IranOn March 6, 2008, Simons Centre Director Wade Huntley attended a Roundtable on Nuclear Issues in Relation to Iran in Ottawa, hosted by Project Ploughshares of Waterloo, Ontario, and arranged in cooperation with the Ottawa Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Subsequently, in April 2008 Dr. Huntley participated in a roundtable of the Canada-Iran Dialog, convened in Iran through a collaboration of academic institutions in both countries. Both roundtable dialogs provided opportunities for non-governmental engagement on a range of issues aiming to enhance communication, inform public debate and generate policy-relevant proposals. |
